AKIRA wu new model bo
AKIRA maybe made by some other pariah factory lah... that's why the quality very American, use for short period then buang away... ;D
AIWA brand is now owned by another Japanese company. So the tendency of Jippun kiah engaging better established AhTiongs to make their TVs is possible. So far TCL, HiSense, and SkyWorth have their own sub-brands to manufacture to meet overseas market demand, except ChangHong. I'm still trying to search for the news whether ChangHong got something to do with AIWA brand revival in the visual field.
One thing that i just found out last nite, ChangHong TVs remote code is the same as Thomson and AIWA.

My 49in LG 4K TV is dying. More and more vertical lines are forming on the screen a few months after the expiry of the 3 yrs warranty.
So I am looking to replace it with another TV of similar size and found the 50in Philips 50PUT7383. The picture quality and colors of this TV look very good in the shops and it has some nice features.... Android TV running on Oreo, Ambilight, P5 Perfect Picture Engine with Micro Dimming Pro, remote control with voice and keyboard, etc
Price seems quite OK at $1.1 K+
Actually the 55in PU7383 is even better value for money at $1,299 at Courts but it is too big for where I want to put it. :(

I was at Taka BD awhile ago and was looking at the Panasonic TH-65EZ1000S Oled going for $2,379 (display unit) with 5 years warranty.  Darn good price and I would have bought if not for my 1st gen 65” Samsung 4K is still working fine, coming 5.5 years and still counting :P ;D

Interested party, contact Henry Ong @ 96665271.

Last time I asked about the TH-65EZ1000S display set at Great World Best Denki, they said the warranty is only 1 year. :(

Beware the AIWA brand is bought over by some no name company, it is as good as Powepac or Europace type of outfit.

Got free sound bar ah?
Philips TVs need sound bars. Their TV speakers very soft. Cannot hear one. :(
