I am starting a thread which will eventually be moved to the Planet FAQ on DVD.

The main purpose is to inform potential buyers of locally pressed R3 titles that have incomplete features due to censorship.

Free feel to update this thread with new information.

I have just gotten hold of the complete(?) Singapore R3 DVD listing from Alliance. WIll go through it and update when necessary.

actually if you want to know if the title is edited, you can pay a visit to

under the Film Classification Database

C = Clean (Not edited / Cut)
B = Banned (Not Even on Cinema/Home Video)
PWC = Pass With Cuts (Edited , Will be able to see the R3, but not R1)

There are two edited titles that are not released by local studios...ALLIANCE or COMSTAR...

They are...
THE FIFTH ELEMENT-fullscreen DD2.0
TAXI-widescreen DD2.0
Both titles are originate from TAIWAN.Under the studio OREGON if i am not wrong.You can still see these two titles in LASERFLAIR PENINSULAR.

BRIDGET JONES DIARY is not a edited version.The disc took a long while to get passed.Current stocks sold in the market are both uncut from R3 and R1.
