At least for accuphase, U do not need to buy a clock. Unlike Esoteric CDP, U are lured to buy a clock which it can cost of 1/2 of the CDP price.

.......plus a high end cable to link the clock to the clock input which may cost 1/4 the price of the CD player.


Oh I forgot, there is a need for another hi end power cord for the clock....    :)
