I have tried all and these days will only stocked up on Indriya and Ristretto.

A nice bro's wife just came back from UK and got me 10+10 of them  ;)

Technically, I would assume caffeine content is the same across the board.  But if you want the strong flavours to perk up the nose (it's partly psychological, after all), just look at the ratings.  Personally I like Indriya, Ristretto, Arpeggio (10, 10 and 8 IIRC).  Roma (9?) is not bad too.  For a smooth mellow cup, Dulsao (only 3).  Don't really bother with the rest, e.g. I find Rosabaya a bit sour for my taste, typical of Colombian coffees which tend to be more acidic.  The rest seem a bit 'forgettable', in that they're pleasant but unremarkable. Livanto (6), for instance, is the base for all the flavoured Christmas limited edition variations, which indirectly tells you the base flavour doesn't stand out, otherwise the flavours would have to compete with it.

These are my favourites too (special editions notwithstanding).

For Lungo, the Fortissimo works quite well if you prefer a more milder tasting coffee whilst still being quite tasty.

Personally I only realised that I like nespresso when taken as a short, otherwise its just not strong enough. Once you add too much water it becomes too much like Starbucks :D

With the Maestria machine, the amount of water can just be dialled in before I press the espresso button- probably unncessary but it is fun and easy ;D I really can't stress how much more enjoyable the coffee is now that it is hot rather than lukewarm, the steam wand has totally changed it for me.

Thanks for all the info.
I just tried Ristretto as a cappuccino, and oh boy! Coffee Heaven! I think I'm in love!

Am loving this machine!

The steam thing is so easy and quick. It's not been easy to get the microfoam for latte but I haven't got round to getting the proper jug for it yet- just making it in the cup ;P

It might be my imagination but I think the coffee tastes smoother from it and less bitter.

I like the fact that its easy to switch on and starts v fast and the big reservoir for the water and for the spent capsules.

Just ordered the new limited editions Trieste and Napoli

Trieste is ok, not a fan of Napoli (ironic, cos I loved Naples!). The guy insisted that I couldn't try Napoli with milk said it wasn't nice, but was a bit yuck on its own.

My long-serving Jura has broken down, and I'm thinking of joining the Dark Side. I see that the Nespresso boutiques have a Mother's Day offer on at the moment: buy a stainless steel sided Pixie at the regular price ($338?) and at least 8 sleeves and you get a free Aeroccino 3. It's tempting, but I don't like the flip-up platform that needs to be propped up if you use a taller mug, and I'm not sure whether I really need the Aeroccino.

The Aeroccino is useful for cuppuccino, so get it man!

Actually, there are many models to choose from and prices have dropped a little when I started this thread. :)

Consider my used machine with warranty if going for a model with Aerocinno.

Nicely integrated into 1 machine with space to store the various attachments. Has a nice large reservoir to avoid the frequent re-fills needed for the Pixie.

For an XP bro, I can throw in a few more tubes of coffee to sweeten the deal if u meet my asking price.
