Hi All,

Where do you guys buy Nespresso capsules in the UK, is it definitely cheaper? Am thinking of asking the Wife to lug a Citiz back and wondering whether I should ask her to squeeze in a few sleeves at the same time?

Apart from the LE ones, any other full bodied blends to consider? I've see Indriya, Kazaar (kopi style?), Apreggio, Onirio and Ristretto seem to be popular.

Cheers!

@Paul: sorry bro, the price to coffee satisfaction to convenience weighting is firmly with Nespresso at the mo :)

For the machine itself, it is certainly worth it.  For sleeves, yes it's cheaper too, but you have to decide whether it's actually worth the hassle of lugging them back.

Kazaar and Onirio are LE, so you can't buy them from the shops any longer.  Check the ratings as to 'strength': Roma is also up there.  Personally, while Dulsao do Brasil isn't rated as strong (3, IIRC), I do find that its aroma makes it all worthwhile -- as the name suggests, it is all Brazilian coffee.

Hi, thinking of getting one, but a bit confused about the milk part. For Citiz+milk, it comes with an Aeroccino which is for cuppuccino and latte.
1. Does it mean if I just get Citiz I can't make cuppuccino and latte?
2. What kind of milk do I put in the Aeroccino?
3. Do I have to pour in milk and wash the Aeroccino everytime I use the Citiz as the milk can't last long in the Aeroccino in local weather right?
4. I read that Aeroccino can be used for both hot and cold coffee. What does it mean? The Citiz can make cold coffee?

Thanks.

Watch some youtube videos to give you a better idea how it works.

1. Yes unless you have an alternative way of frothing the milk.
2. Anything you want- full fat milk has better froth.
3. Yes, it holds only a little milk anyway
4. It aerates cold milk making it lighter in texture and taste- not a great effect though.

Try a Bamix if you really want frothy milk :D
