I’m very lucky to have the ATC 100 Anniversary actives and I don’t think I will ever sell them. I’m hoping at some stage to upgrade to the new ATC in-house tweeters but, it’s going to be a costly process to send the units back to the factory for fitment and set up - one day though....
I’ve been using ATC actives for many, many years and eventually bought the SCA2 pre amp as well as I moved up the range. Mine are 10 years old or so now, in as new condition and still impress, subject to the source material of course.
I just need to change my DAC to get to the next level and I’m done.

My system:
ATC 100 Anniversary ATSL
STC SCA2 pre amp
Esoteric DV50 - 15 yrs old..
Chord Hugo TT2 + Chord M Scaler

Amazing. How big is your room for these speaker? Any room treatment needed?

Thanks

Very simple room treatment, almost nothing, apart from bass traps which aren’t ideally positioned, just furniture!

How do I attach pictures to a post from an iPod?....

How loud are you able to play the active ATC at?

In my many listening sessions with 50 actives with intention to buy, the speakers came into their own when I hit 90dB and beyond. IMHO at high SPL, the 50/100 out performs much more costly setups. Unfortunately for me, my environment does not allow me to play at such volumes and I had to pass. The Active 50 Anniversary is still my favorite speakers. One day perhaps I can have the environment to own a pair of Anniversary 50 or 100.

Haha bro , look is beautiful but to get normal imaging you need to half stand , if seat on sofa , the imaging and sound stage all floating at ceiling like seating at 1st row in cinema, I hear it at China a few time , very weird feeling...

Could be, but the PMC have similar design , also imaging is too high for my preference....... my guess is the imaging too high is due to mid and high driver are more than 1/2 a meter above ear..

...Actually even Wilson Maxx 3 also projected the imaging too high, I suspect this type of speaker need to seat very far away to listen
