ATC in Singapore

In response to the recent comments posted by CDA we thought it important ATC clarifies its position in Singapore. On 11 January 2019 ATC Loudspeaker Technology Ltd put CDA Pro on notice that its distribution for ATC would be terminated from 11 February 2019. This was implemented in line with that notice.

The comments made by the owner or an agent of CDA specific to ATC are factually incorrect and on the face of it appear only to be in response to the termination. We have an excellent relationship with a large number of customers in Singapore and will continue to provide full support for all of our products in the territory. We have enjoyed a busy and successful recent few years in our long forty five year history and are looking forward to a bright future in Singapore and elsewhere.

At this time we are represented by Live Acoustics in Singapore. This is a retailer who has stocked and sold ATC for the last few years and who we continue to support.

If you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact us at info@atc.gb.net.

On leave...thought of checking out the new dealer. Gave a call before heading down...someone answered and for no reasons hang up on me. Called back a number of times but no one answer and phone was routed to mobile, still no one answer. Tried at least 5 times...Gave them the benefit of doubt and since I need the exercise I went downtown to the address stated online.

It’s only a mailing address.  ???

Pictures speaks a thousand words so here u go...

Finally and thanks to a ATC fan who forwarded me the business address.

Apparently Robert is out of town and the shop is a little short of staff. Got to the showroom but to my dismay ATC stock is limited and there isn’t room for a proper audition either. It is a bit of a disarray in the shop and perhaps with the new dealership they would put a proper showroom.

Here is the official address for those whom are keen to visit...I do hope they improve their service and quality standards.

Cheers!

Maybe home audition is the best option to explore if the showroom not up to it.
I have a pile of stuff that pushes out squiggly waveforms from smaller squiggly waveforms that sometimes come from 1's and 0's.
It's wonderful to behold as long as you don't let the magic smoke out.

Life is short! Enjoy the music while it plays, when it stops, there might be a chair for you...or  maybe not.

Live Acoustics (Robert) can demo the smaller, domestic series speakers. You are out of luck if want to audition any of the 50 series upwards.

An excellent point and your comment deserves an answer.

CDA ProAV is a subsidiary of a larger parent company in Singapore. The business position of the parent company afforded that any problems within CDA ProAV to be rectified efficiently but at a significant cost. The parent company had the resources including connections with freight companies, customs agents and banking that could effectively manage the numerous quality failures from the manufacturer.

The parent company sort advice in June 2018 in Singapore as to its position of selling a product that could be knowingly faulty or did not meet consumer expectation under Singapore consumer laws.

CDA ProAV fulfilled all of its warranty obligations to its customers without question. This occurred at significant cost to that company because of the many instances of quality failures from the manufacturer.

All quality failures are documented with pictures and serial numbers.

I have another failed SCM40A Amplifier Pack. This makes the failure rate at 56.5%. Should this be handled by Robert at Live Acoustic? Or should this be handled by Joel Chia? Who is paying for another failure?
