Michael Fremer is a very funny guy  ;D and what he has in his den is absurd, but I like it. :P

BBC documentary about one of the very few independant record shops left in England.

Brings back memories of DaDa, Supreme, valentine... remember those shops?

I used to come in and chat to peter at dada for many years and was sad to see it all go digital and then no more...also up at sembawang i remember going to check out the black gold. Ued to have a couple of 1200's in the early 90's when i first got here...i have 3 crates of records left...but probably only 1/2 are mine...the rest my mrs and some of her dads old stuff.
I have a pile of stuff that pushes out squiggly waveforms from smaller squiggly waveforms that sometimes come from 1's and 0's.
It's wonderful to behold as long as you don't let the magic smoke out.

Life is short! Enjoy the music while it plays, when it stops, there might be a chair for you...or  maybe not.
