LG1777 HDD DVR - help please disc not recognised

since I bought this I have never used a disc in it to record other than the LG- DVD-RW disc that came with the player or the hard disc

today I went and got some Sony DVD-RW disc but the damn recodered does not seem tp like these disc , It can't be that difficult so it's probably me - anyone has had this issue before ?

the other thing is , how do I put the stuff recorded on the HDD on to the recordable dvd

Hi,

Have a 1888 myself and wasted about $100 to get my stuffed DVD writer on the 1888 repaired. Dies just outside the warranty AGAIN!

So just get a new HDD DVD recorder.
