I believe that question should have been directed to me... :)

Bro SKFong, if you planning a trip to Tokyo, I can share with you all the place to go for vinyl shopping. We can chat over kopi anytime  :)

Bro naglfar, do you have all the websites, address, tel no. in Tokyo for Japanese press LPs for English pop from late 70s to early 90s? I have friends( know zero about LPs) living in Tokyo so I might ask them to buy for me.

Bro your best bet for would be to check Recofan. There's lot of branches throughout Tokyo - I am only familiar with the Shibuya, Ikebukuro and Shimo-KItazawa outlets. The website should help. Prices start from 100 yen.

In Tokyo I only managed to find Disk Union outlets.
Didn't managed to locate Recofan.
Was at shibuya, followed the map but still can't find.

I've been traveling a lot for the past few years, been through a few used vinyl shops in most major cities, i got a room filled with vinyls of a bout 5000pcs. glad to know there are still people in singapore who loves collecting them.

recent buy from London at some random thrift shop:
- all The smiths first pressing LPs
- oasis box set, real steal
- pixies doolittle
- cannibal corpse eaten back to life

you guys' collection rocks! but still amatur-ish compared to mine...

No bro malsound, unfortunately I not good looking enough to be an air crew, I run my own business and have to travel due to different office locations, I'll be going Berlin next week so hope can find something good there.
Wow 60k vinyls is quite a feat, my collection is nothing man compared to his. Come to think about if each of my lp cost 40, I'm down by 200k already! Can get me another neat car.

Since I started vinyl less than 2 years ago, I have about 8000 LPs now, mostly are collectable. But I still feel amatur-ish. There's a lot of big collectors that are hidden around here.

I have maybe about 400+, definitely very very amateur-ish compared to the bros here who has thousands...but cannot compare lah. As long as I buy whatever I can afford and just enjoy the music, I'm happy already.
