Cant compare like this. Rmc1 (if working correctly), offers high end processor level specs. 16 channel balanced, dirac eq, audiophile grade dac. Full control.

Not 4getting the option to expand up to a total of 28 ch when the 4 ch x1 module, up to 3 module, is available. But a 9.1.6 setup is wat the rmc1 is capable of and about the max, wat we in sg is able to setup in our tiny hdb hall/room.

The closest n cheapest alternative pre-pro is no doubt the marantz 8805. Not 4getting going this route, u'll hv to set aside budget for power amp. I feel its a wat u want vs wat u need thingy.

XMC-2 has no varified bug free or anything at all firmware wise yet...I'm still on the fence. Also I bet no int'l sales for a while either.
I have a pile of stuff that pushes out squiggly waveforms from smaller squiggly waveforms that sometimes come from 1's and 0's.
It's wonderful to behold as long as you don't let the magic smoke out.

XMC-1 Trade in for XMC-2 is available now.  I shall wait awhile for international user feedback.

Hi

Emotiva has for almost a year shipped directly to Singapore. Is this model excluded due to weight/price?

I'd be keen to know too.

no its all models ship here direct.

Maybe we should do a mass ship for all the XMC-1's assuming we have all parts needed to return. Mine is boxed ready to go
