Bro
Just bring your amp down and use it with the speaker you like!
Ask nicely, I am sure they will oblige.

Sure, we can discuss some more..
You may not like the way I share advice though ;)
After telling a bro recently about how to spend his money, I got no thanks even after a demo and much advice...

I have found a very reliable and perhaps expensive way of taming hum.. I am talking total silence...
The PM 11S3 is one piece of quality equipment.
Sound quality aside, it is really well built, and everything screams quality. When you use it, it is absolutely silent. Switch channels, or even if you switch it one before turning on the processor and you won't get any sound or thump.

Even after a night of use, it doesn't get more than warm.. and there are no fans, its built to last.

Hi, i had a taste of your approach and advice in my previous avr journey but it serves us, the newbies, well in this hobby. This hobby is very addictive if 1 is serious.

After going the audio journey (mine low end type), i had got a Audiolab then the Marantz Pearl Lite. Then I realized what Marantz 2-channel audio system could bring about. I gather that you had the experience too of going away from MF to the Marantz system ... thnks for your guidance all this whilst ...

Bro since you have bought the Pearl Lite, I am not sure you want to try the PM11s3...
It may hurt your wallet more ...

Anyway as usual pm me with your contact and I will let you know..
Cheers

Found more measurements of the power output of the PM 11S3, and Hi Fi News measured it as:
Quote
The partnering amplifier makes a mockery of its '100W specification, delivering a huge 2x160 w at 8ohm and 2x260w at 4ohm right up to 680w at 1ohm (or 26A) under dynamic conditions [/font]

And I have successfully played a dff track on the NA11 S1 with the aid of Jriver, but it doesn't play the dsf file.

Finally had a chance to try out the headphone amp built into the NA11s1, and it's very good.
Neutral in nature and powers even difficult to drive cans well, you usually won't need to turn it up beyond 11 o'clock unless deafness is desired.
It begs you to use good cans with it, and will not be out of place with a nice set like the Senn HD 650 or even the 800.
