Remove the bookshelf speaker and stand physically away from your system if you are no longer using them. They will create magnetic interference to your system affecting their soundstaging capabilities.

If you notti dun wan remove them, at least, short the positive and negative terminals of the bookshelf speakers

After getting used to KEF Reference and Blade 2 speakers at work, it was a little tough getting back to the brightness of the Thiel CS3.7s - at least that was my impression for a couple of months now.

On another note, I’ve been using Tellurium Q Black 2 speaker cables at work and I’ve always marveled how they tame a lot of solid state systems - making music sound more organic.

On a hunch I brought them back. Granted these are replacing a much more expensive Silversmith silver speaker cables. But damn, they do mellow out the Thiel a lot.

I might have to spring for the Ultra Black 2 and try them out for myself.

How do they sound?
Was looking at them previously but never had a chance to hear one out.

I like them a lot. They have good imaging and manage to combine studio monitor neutrality with good musicality.
