havent tried their power cords but had great luck with their CAT7 cables and toslinkUsing CAT7 Vodka on my Naim and I can only say Lan cables (strangely) do have very positive effect on Network streamer SQ, dunno how to explain, just flows better
Tried to search but could not find a thread about these power cables.Any local users here to share the experience?Plenty of rave reviews in overseas forum.Currently auditioning hurricane HC on DAC. So far very positive impact for my system
Mind sharing your findings and the price?
I using 2 hurricane HC. One on Diablo 300 and one on MSB DAC (one is on loan).Compared to a few power cables i am owning now, hurricane very Low noise. I believe the storm series will bring down the noise significantly. But once the noise very low, system will become more transparent. One worry is that it will be too bright or revealing. When I home trial thunder which is the entry level, I hear some digital smears and edgy highs on my system, but still not too bad. But when I change to hurricane, I don’t hear the edgy highs. Smoother sounding than thunder, while maintaining the other sounding character I hear on thunder but better. For me, I think the most obvious change I listened is more dynamic, details, wider stage and vocal pushed slightly forward.
Thanks for the info.So we both are using the same amp, I believe connecting to the amp has more impact than dac?
For me, power cable on my DAC has more impact than amp. Next up thinking to try their Niagara power conditioner.
I agree than ethernet cable does make difference. I am not using AQ ethernet but last month change the ethernet cable (from challenger) to Supra Cat8 LAN. Definitely improve the sounding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
