I can understand what bro seanyzf is going through.  Some wives are just concerned that we don't spend our entire savings on some gears that just play music.  My wife is one of them.   She knows me me too well and knows that I will move once I set eyes on something.  She is watching me like a hawk.  :-[

Hmm....that's exactly what she said whenever I'm on the internet viewing hifi website or forums. How ironical....others wives are concern about their spouses viewing porn....but my wife is concern about me viewing hifi   ???

see if u still have the budget for it when u are done paying separation and lawyer fees, and start paying for alimony and maintenance.

why not get your wives involved in the hobby? i am sure most ppl can enjoy music.
my current gf is the one that urges me to spend $$ on cables cos she can hear the difference.
maybe abit diff from wife cos no control of funds though. :P

Well, my wife appreciates hifi but not the money spent.  She always say that there is always a limit....not the sky the limit.  She reminded me how much money was lost when I sold off my hi end equipments.  Ouch...that hurts.

Her justification is that the current setup is musical and acceptable....so why rock the boat.

Its different with girlfriends. Priorities and expectations in a relationship change so much after marriage.

Got the HT together recently.

This time no choice in getting the sub or not. I just said to her, I'm getting the sub- which one would you like me to get.

It worked, well partly. I have a SVS cylinder for the HT, but she's a bit  >:( evil eyes at me.  :P

Am planning to soften her up with some chinese soap operas  ;D ;D
