Hi,

Just some concerns, don't you think the vibration from your spks  will affect the performance of your amp, or worst still your player. ??

Looks at what's underneath the speaker  :P and looks closely to those small crystal that left ontop of the speaker, under, and player..my friend here is a tweaker  ;D for sure he has reasons to put all these tweaks.

The stands are actually solid wood blocks weighing about 14 kg each.  Intention was to dampen and prevent as much vibration as possible.

Yes, that was my original concern too in the beginning.  Used to have floorstanders which I placed in front  of the feature wall.  When I switch to bookshelf, I wanted to have it on stands but wife was not in favour as she was afraid that she may topple it over during housekeeping.  Therefore, have to make do....ended up with the customised solid wood blocks, then tweak like MAD. :P

DH Squares and DH Cones for the DVD players,  Black Diamond Racing Cones for the Amp.  Those under the speakers are Nordost Pulsar Points with 3 Dollar Coins each under the front.  Nordost Frey Speaker Cables and First Impression Music Gold interconnects.

You certainly went all out with the accessories !
How are the Nordost Frey cables? Did you compare them to the Red/Blue dawn?
