ah you drive your audience direct using the Denon AVR? no heating problems?
haha no shame lah, slowly upgrade. maybe you can consider getting power amps to improve your speakers dynamics.

no heating problem... volume turn up to 10 also ok...
if i use more power hungry amp, i should get better sound...

but i'm not into the upgrade bug as i simply do not have the moolah...
most probably > 90% of the ppl here will have their amp that is newer than my denon...

May I ask where did you purchase those bass trap? Price? Can PM or post here if you don't mind.
Thank you
I bought a used pair for $550 in echoloft. Local dealer selling at around $950.

I am still experiemnting some room treatment as it has some bassy issue for a long time. Will let you know.
Happened to me too before I got my bass busters. Now i can tune the volume higher without fear. :)

Then I might belong to the other 10%. My amp is pretty old. The amp maker already up lorry. Speakers older still. But what matters most is that you still enjoy and like your setup  ;) A simple system matched right can sound better than a hi end setup matched wrongly.
