Not to dissuade you but I also considered the same but in the end coupled my C1 with a JL sub and now a happy camper.  :) Just an option...

Yup, in a big room with a sub the C1 plays much bigger then a floorstander because of the sub bass it cannot produce. You literally feel the sound :)

What is the model of your JL audio sub? I thought JL Audio is more suitable for HT instead of 2 channel stereo.

I have the E series. I used the 10 inch for stereo and 12 inch for HT. Either HT or music they sound great and the integration is seamless. None of guess would have thought there is a sub. Happy camper here.

As long as the sub is crossed low enough and not get too excited with the sub gain, any decent sub should do well for music

I bag to differ. I have tried at least three other brands but I am only fully satisfied with JL subs. There maybe better or comparable ones but I have yet to try.

Bro, what makes you think Dynaudio subs are meant for music / 2 channels stereo instead of HT?
May I suggest you audition the brands that you are keen on, and understand how each brand sounds..
Cheers

Bro Mousike,
May I know how you connect your sub to stereo?
I have Dynaudio Sub 600 for HT, maybe I can try connect my sub to stereo. :P
Chord Transport, DAC & Multi Channels Amp
Dynaudio C1 Platinum, 200C, S1.4 (Surround), IC17 (Height) & Sub 600
Oppo Blu-ray Player / Denon AVR / Panasonic Projector / OS Screen
Finite Elemente Rack & Accessories / Nordost Cables / Sine Power Distributors

Its not complicated because my Stereo and HT is a seperate system. But if you are using one system for both HT and Stereo it can be a little complicated.

If it is too complicated, I better don’t think too much. Only use my subwoofer for HT will do. :P

I suppose this is the way.  :)
