My apology for bringing up old thread.

I have been reading quite a fair bit in the forums, what strikea me when i came across following terms which puzzle me. I know and understand the terms on their own, literary, but not in hifi terms when come to description of sound characterisics. Terms such as:

- clean
- dynamic
- warm
- transparent
- laid back
- bright
- and many more

Are there any global defination of such descriptions? I mean, how does one decribe characters of sound in words? Pls enlighten.

Are there any global
