To have so call "moods" for a professional salesman is a BIG no no.
To be very frank, recently I am one of the potential customers whom PA has lost due to his "moods".

its funny... but time again, tis thing about PA comes up...i make a oath to myself never step into his shop again, i was a victim of one of "moods", went there with $ in my pocket all ready to buy, but left empty handed and totally bewildered how a sales person can behave like tat....

i think he knows what he is doing, after emteen yrs in biz, so he knows he can afford to lose biz from small fry like me lah..... >:(

good news, MA and Cayin hv alternative places to buy,  :)

MAs with their metal cones and tweeters are brighter than the soft dome stuff, so you need to be ware before you buy, esp the bookshelf ones. See my review on the GS 10 on how to tune this.

There is no bass cone to mellow things out, so it will sound brighter than the floorstanders.

Partnering amps, cables etc all play a part and having room treatment to absorb higher frequencies also helps. In my room the treble is much less energetic than in Edward's.

how about pairing up with canare 4s11 which is known to be slower and warm?

right now i am using music infinity amp, rs1 and canare 4s11 (not bi-wiring). feel tat something is amiss, some areas can be improved further but i just cant pinpoint wat thing.

Hi Pete, so will RS8 and/or GS20 be more balance, since these have 'additional' drivers for Mid and Low?

If so, then that will really cover the LOW to MID to HIGH  ;D

Likely NATO a while until I sort out my PCH  :'(  :-\
