David Villa is rumoured to have told reporters that he is surprised Torres is staying, and predicts that Torres will be leaving if Reds do not win anything in the coming season.

Nice talk from a guy who couldn't get in the Spanish first 11. Sigh, Anything to keep himself in the public eye...

Silva?
Wouldn't mind if Torres sold for 70mil and the money used for 2-3 good players

*drooling* I Like this:
"Huang is offering to clear Liverpool's debt to RBS and hand new manager Roy Hodgson funds to do business in the transfer window.
The tycoon also plans to build the club a new stadium as soon as possible."

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=811318&sec=england&cc=4716
"The Independent says Fernando Torres "was briefed on the approach some time ago and will be encouraged, on his return to Melwood, to await the outcome of discussions between the tycoon and Royal Bank of Scotland". Torres is keen to see further investment at Anfield."

Hopefully it's a done deal asap, and the Americans can go back to their self-contaminated beaches.

But hope also not devils OUT, one devil IN  ::)  The way Chinese run their business  :-X

Insua decided that he is still undecided about his future
« Reply #850 on: August 02, 2010, 17:49 »
Hmmm....afterall, we may end with the same set of 09/10 players, but obviously less the Argentinian.

"We were short of players but as it happened, Aurelio signed at the last minute and Insua decided that he is still undecided about his future and was therefore able to be selected," he said.
