Yes,  Aunty Enid, she used to write for The Absolute Sound quite a while back. She was quite a bit of a tweaker and very well ahead of her time and as a result there was quite a bit of backlash from the Skeptics. She quit writing for the TAS and gave up Audio Completely  Cry . Do a search in the AudioAsylum. John Curl still speaks fondly of her.

Just curious to know if anyone remembered any of her tweakings....

She used to stress quite often on correct orientation of the AC plug , which she would mark with nail polish to indicate the correct orientation.

I support this tweak (actually not really a tweak strickly speaking). I have tried both orientations and found one warmer sounding that the other. In fact, manufacturer like YBA stress the importance of correct plug orientation to the extent that they provide you with a test pen to check the hot point.

others that I've read include:

shine a torchlight along the cable in a darkened room and the sound changes?

use 2 core speaker cables as power cord cables?

flipping the channels of the TV even when the TV is off in case there's interference?

I wonder what she thinks about amber tweaks....

The so called correct orientation has everything to do with polarity, which can be tested scientifically but only two pin Euro plugs have this 180 degree switching ability.

Enid's articles appeared in 1980 , during that period detachable external power cords were not in fashion yet. Some US equipment were supplied with a US 2 flat pin plug, as there was no earth it was also reversible. The Quicksilver 8417 Monoblocks that I'm currently using is one such example.
Yes, polarity can be measured, there are also some fancy and expensive gizmos available. AFAIK Enid was the first one to bring up the importance of polarity. Unfortunately, she has given up on Audio completely what a pity..................

Unfortunately she popped too many 'audio issues' out at such a rate so fast, she got run out of the room. Also, as she received the backlash, TAS felt it might have undermined their credibility as an audio mag...

I have also heard that she was really maverick with the TT setup methods.

Yes, Enid was involved in quite a few Audio Issues as well but I think she probably got so fed up with everything that she gave up Audio completely. I read somewhere that she sold of all her audio stufff and was living and traveling the States in a van/car like what Jewel used to ..........

There was another woman writer in Absolute Sound who championed room treatment.  She did have a whole bunch of ASCs in her room.  Unfortunately, she died of cancer.  Anyone here remember her name ?

Yes, it was Ann Turner and a good reviewer too.
