Coin tweaks to improve your system!!!!

Was surfing one day when i stumble over this website.. Really informative wif tons of tweaks to improve your system.. Really urge you guys to tried it out!!!!!!

I tried some of the coin tweaks mentioned above, and was amazed by the dramatic improvement it brought to my system!!!!!

Here are some of the noted improvements after the tweak.. 

1) More defined bassline
2) Wider soundstage
3) Vocals seems to have more presense
4) Instruments more clearly define in complex music pieces

Pls go try it out and feedback your impressions after the tweak..

Imo, this is the cheapest way to improve the sound of your system.. Anyway, heres a few tweaks that worked for me.. Dats y im so eager to share wif u guys...

1) Stick a 5cent coin(using thin double-sided tape) on the power plug of your audio equipment. This tweak helps to open up the soundstage.

2) Place a 1cent coin at the base of your speaker, meaning on the floor, in the center of the "footprint". This tweak helps to tighten up the bass. Also stick a 5cent coin(using thin double-sided tape) on top of ya speaker to balance the sound.

3) Stick the "crest" of the 1cent coin to the "flower" of the 5cent coin(using thin double-sided tape). Then stick this "combo" in between your tweeter and the woofer.

Come on, dudes!!! Give it a try b4 spending more $$ on upgrading...

like tis one ah, then quickly collect 1 cent and 5 cent coins liao, other countries coins also can ah, as long as same type one, right.

(more stones coming my way)... did a little experiment :

put both tube amp and CDP onto my floor (ceramic tiles), speakers onto IKEA plastic stools (becos I dont hv any stands yet), immediately sound different, better details, loose boom (before that speakers less than 4 inches fm wall)

then ah, again play with my son's building blocks, put under CDP based on DH cones recommendation, again sounds better.....

so now hifi when not used is one pc one pc one... when want to listen, put amp and CDP on the floor and then setup (less than 5 minutes work), tell u, sound so much better than if just leave them on the rack (which is also not hifi quality one in the first place).

Im not sure if coins from other countries are as good as ours.. Coz the author did mention in his site about experimenting wif coins from diff countries but end up still prefer our "local production"..

As for your "self invent" tweaks, will let u know my findings after i try..

Sir, can I audition your coins before buying?

I've been visiting the 1388 website since years ago. I remember at that time they had "invented" a sound enhancer device namely Bit88  . I like to read those stories. Personally I think the author (1388.com) really knows how to write captivating stories like, err...the famous HK sc-fi novelist Ni Kuang aka "Wei Si Li" (Westley). 
However, I did came across someone telling me some of his tricks work on his system (or maybe his mind, I don't know...). Anyway, no harm trying those tweaks.

I also used to have a Bit88. I was surprised by the difference it made in his office and bought one. Unfortunately, in my system, the Bit88 made the sound very harsh, bright and fatiguing.

Coin tweaks - I have them on my current speakers. But I can't determine if they make a difference or not. Maybe my ears are not well trained or maybe there's really no audible difference. But I left the coins stuck there anyway.

as i do tis hifi journey, sometimes i get a little scare becos if not careful will end up like a sound technician instead, always looking to better the sound, rather than sit back and smell the flower.....or should i say just enjoy the sound. 

ah yah.... blame it on upgraditis one.....

my wife (God bless her for being direct to me)  hit me straight to the point, she asked me "so when are you going to be satisfied, if you are not careful, isn't it the same as greed..... always want more.... and more......

qualifier - dont mean to offend anyone ah, but this is just what i ve experience so far.

got to quote my good friend again (I thank God for giving me such a wonderful and wise friend fm the forum) -  dont be in a hurry to change tis and change tat, at the end of day, u change so much things that you dont even know what is good or no good for your system.
