Hmm, Clarence told me he do not have Marantz SR4200 or 5200 etc for demo. So I could not do a comparison before I buy.

Eh, I am still a newbie, and do not know how to setup this receiver, seems alot more complicated than SR4200. Think I will ask my friend to help me set it up.

As for the sound now, I feel that it's abit better, maybe my ears are no as 'skilful' as you all yet. ::)

Yup, I traded my stuffs to KEC. Thought that it's quite troublesome to sell such bulky stuffs. :)

I have more or less finish setting up the receiver, and the 1st thing I observed is that music sounds much better on RXV-730 than SR4200. Movie sounds better too, but I dun know how to put them into words, sorry.

But now I need one rear centre speaker. Do I use a normal speaker or centre speaker for it? Or is there a special kind of speaker?

More musical?

Did u know that Yamaha Av amps had a history of being very sharp, unmusical and irritating.

But it seems that today's generation of yammy seem to sound much better than from 2 years ago!

It even seemed  that comparing Yammy and denon, some denon fans have realised yammy has improved musically!

Good choice for your yammy. They should last you until your next upgrade!
