Terrence Malik's films tends to be very "elaborate" on characters... So... Some kind of patience is required.

Then u should avoid films directed not only Terrence Malik, but also Edward Zwick as well as ...perhaps Clint Eastwood.

Got a few lah... My colleague cannot tahan FLAG of OUR FATHERS, Bridge of Madison County... both he said was a waste of his Clint Eastwood $$$...
I never seen the last one, as well as Jersey Boys, Gran Tourismo as well as The Mule, but i certainly see(to some impatient folks), to get adrenaline pump from FooF, one have to sit his butt thru the film roughly 70mins then can feel the excitement.

We walked out of the cinema only once.  It was in the 80s at Westwood Los Angeles.

We were there to watch Pink Floyd "The Wall".
Great theater, you choose your seat.....whole theater was almost empty on a weekday afternoon...no more than 10 persons in this vast space meant for hundreds.  Fantastic sound system....unbearably loud and clean!!!   The portrayal of violence and blood was too much for my wife....  though I was having a whale of a time listening to "The Wall" this loud with the awesome graphics painting alternative visions I had in my mind listening to the album.  A good example was "Goodbye Blue Sky" where that gigantic metal bird soaring menacingly over the sky....wow!!

We walked out during "The Happiest Days Of Our Lives" - (You!, Yes, you!  Stand still laddy!!) proceeding into "Another Brick In The Wall Part 2"......faceless children singing "We don't Need No Education......."

Sad, huh?....but no choice, wife's face was beginning to pale.....LOL

Flags of Our Father, cannot remember.....Letters From Iwo Jima, nice......Jersey Boys was very good, Gran Tourimo was attention grabber enough and I love the Mule, I didn't know it was a Clint Eastwood movie until I saw it.

I walked out from

From Vegas to Macau.. star studded cast including Chow Yuen Fatt, Carina Lau, Steven Chow and Tony Leung. Waste of talent to act in such slapstick

Guardian of Galaxy Part 2 - I walked out after the intro song from ELO ended or 10 minutes after the show started.

Nowadays... With cinema tix getting more ex, would u choose to watch intense, exciting, adrenaline pumping flicks that gives u better sensual orgasms at home, or in cinema? The same applies to slow moving, plot elaborative dramas vice versa?

i agree with that.
one of the best director ever.
damn i like his latest work Richard Jewell.

the only film by Eastwood that I seriously don't like is The 15:17 to Paris.
I cannot believe Clint Eastwood can make this kind of crappy movie, but still i tahan all the way never walk out.
