Hi Roni,
Enjoyed the demo session yesterday. Stepping into your house is like entering a sound studio, very low noise floor.
Watching the demo clips seem so effortless, I  wasn't struggling to  hear the surround effects but rather enjoying that immersive feeling especially with the 135" screen. Really admire your dedication and enthusiasm into this hobby.

Thanks Ronildoq for hosting the session. One of the best immersive sound demo I’ve experienced, I especially like the Atmos music video. It sounded very full and immersive with good PRAT. Litmus test is if the music can get me emotionally involved, the system succeeds. The system here includes your environment. However I do notice 4K HDR is on the dim side. You may want to play with the gamma. I did the same on my Epson and it makes a world of difference.

Hi bro, Glad u enjoyed the session ! Pleasure to meet u too.

Yes yes, I’m having Alf in next demo session, hopefully he can provide me with a tip or two on tweaking the BenQ HDR, I believe the HDR side can’t do much adjustments due to the tone mapping capabilities . I’ll share more on that once BenQ guru is here for the demo next month

Thanks for the heads up bro, much appreciated the valuable feedback on video :)

Let me share with u guys what is on the front stage

These 4 SMT wings ( diffusors ) sits behind the AT screen flanking the centre, the mains are placed outside the AT screen toed in to take advantage of 1st reflection point behind the AT screen

Here is the angling of speakers, the focus is to be able to see the inner cabinet of the speaker while seated at MLP , circled in green

Good observation by PL, the higher frequencies didn’t sound as bright. As I have used a high shelf filter from 8000hz with a Q of 0.7 and gain -1.5db ( previously was at -6db) during first demo. Thanks Gavin for pointing out. I found it better not attenuating too much

The centre channel behind the AT screen is already having a -3db shelving downwards from 6khz to 20khz

Whilst u guys were enjoying the bass, I was focusing on the High Frequencies for masking near the kitchen area, I was using REW with RTA to monitor high frequencies while deep bass was playing > 130db , but a lot of energies felt near corner area where I was seated

As I’m done with bass really, the most difficult aspect, I didn’t really focus much on the treble or high end frequencies and how it actually sounds and feel. This was a good opportunity for me to test it out.

Turns out I can only hear clearly up to 14khz... beyond 20khz, I was observing occasional spikes in frequency, when this happened, the feeling was different. It felt more spacious and airy and the micro details were playing at ease, again as pointed out by PL, it was effortless and I didn’t struggle as much with the micro details

So the piercing/bright sound was happening around 10khz - 13khz

Ok next up I need to experiment into higher frequencies

Updated 2 more new scenes, under page 1 for the demo, just experienced this clip at Earth Sound today on the Starke Halo Speakers, found it to be a very good clip, crystal clear with all the details, very good speakers too, pairing very well with the new NAD M27 amplifier , nice!

Also updated the permission for DL for some of the other clips, forgot to turn on permission settings ;) oops...

Also tested the two new scenes, alien covenant, I’ve uploaded on the front page

Another fantastic demo material

Stay tuned for this one, non bass EQ graph below

The bass is also surprisingly good , especially when the virus enters the body... amazing, see the graph below, the impact quite solid , down to 10hz, without any BEQ, very very good dynamic range

Then the other baby alien scene, also very good

Lotsa impact at 9hz...

See u guys tomorrow for the demo !

Ah haaa... just saw the graph on this alien covenant movie... concurs to my finding, don’t need any BEQ, in fact there is minus gain at 10hz , -2!

There it is! The numbers don’t lie, all these can be felt...

Go check it out, I posted the link on first page, go DL and playback test test

Very solid.
