Footers under Which Component Yields Best Results

As above-mentioned, what's your takes?

For me, I'd would choose pre amp. Footers under the source/s if I'm using a integrated amp.

hi bro,

for me, it would be the source. the 'origin' of the sound....

somehow... its 'additive' after hearing the effect and would end up with footers under pre-amp, amp and the rest of equipment. ;D

Hi bro,

Actually the effect of the footers starts to show when I replace a set under my cdp's platform. The enhancement of the music appreciation really starts when a different set of footers are placed under my pre. When I took out the platform's footers, the some details are lost but the music are still as intriguing.

oh yes... footers of different material have different effect on the equipment. i suppose its up to individual preference... ;)

same goes to cables. recently tried another make of cable stands on my speaker cables... whoa... thumbs up to the effect.  :-*

Whoa bro, another upgrade. Acoustic Revive, Furutech or Entreq's cable stands?  :D

If your system is transparent enough and your hearing is  learned : changing a small little thing in system chain,  moving equipment or speaker as small as 1cm, replacing or moving furniture in the room, have effect on reproduction of sound by your system.

Good or bad only trained ear can tell.

I've seen so many audiophiles trying to solve nonexistent problem.

True enough. I have thought that one of my furniture is getting in the way of the music reproduction but later learn to accept the bottleneck & live happy ever after.  ;D

Don't mentioned bro. For me, I'm seeking more emotional expression from the performing artists. Balance in the reproduction of music is more important now. :)
