Continue to buy Sammy if u want "Harman Kardon tuned" experience.
Buy LG if u want "Meridian tuned" experience.

ok tks. Managed to find a demo set to test but it is of N850 model, it is probably the size and demo material, it is better than my old yamaha.

Went to courts and Sony to hear hear the different soundbar. What surprised me was LG soundbar actually sound better than Sony.

Compared those $500 to $800 price range.

Haven't try Samsung, but I'm really though Sony should be better, but the low end really damn muddy n boomy.

I spent some time over the weekend to build soundbar for my TV. The driver is 4" Dayton fullrange speaker powered by Lepy T-amp with tone control adjustment. This little driver cam pump very very decent bass. TV sound is so much better.

Impressive bro!
Is there any driver in the middle ? Or is it just L & R?
Please post instead of sending a pm, so more can learn.

Has anyone got experience with the Samsung HW-Q90R sound bar?

Actually what do people normally look for in sound bars and what aspect of sound do they use to judge sound quality?

Clear dialogue?
Powerful bass? Deep bass, full bodied bass?
Surround movement?
Height channel got hear or only feeling?
Overall frequency response?

... It's going to be more ex...with durability... Unknown.
PHILIPS re-attempt to enter the HT market with their "budget friendly" soundbar...

...is going to be a sales disaster FUBAR!

@ $900??? I rather go for SONY's ZF9 that can be had at $100 less with expandability as well as DTS-X decoding!
