  • Never take a Windtalker seriously.......
That's why I bought the BenQ W5700 over the Epson TW 9400, the Epson did have super blacks but I saw SDE and the BenQ definitely was smoother and sharper, closer to a true cinema picture.

BenQ 5700, can try this settings. I’m using this in line with HD fury vertex2, using Oppo HDR dolby vision settings, player led on 135” with screen gain 1.1

Looks fantastic !

Colours are set to 0 here.

HDR brightness curve use -1

Calibrated white balance. Of course it will vary from unit to unit.

Colours are 0, but colour enhancer here set between 8 to 12

Iris I set it at mid point for HDR

Colour management as follows:

Enjoy !! Not sure if this will work for u if u don’t have a meter to calibrate. But will have to make do. I’m definitely enjoying HDR on the BenQ now... very good indeed

For SDR settings, calibrated with 12 bit depth using a gamma of 2.3. Slightly different colours at default 50 and sharpness at 10

White balance below

Colours cms calibrated to 75% saturation

That’s about it, nothing much to do, enjoy !!
