Qobuz in Singapore
« on: December 02, 2018, 11:43 »
Anyone here use Qobuz? If so how did you sign up - VPN?

How do you use...still need VPN to UK/EU/AU or as long as have account can use from anywhere with no VPN?
I have a pile of stuff that pushes out squiggly waveforms from smaller squiggly waveforms that sometimes come from 1's and 0's.
It's wonderful to behold as long as you don't let the magic smoke out.

Life is short! Enjoy the music while it plays, when it stops, there might be a chair for you...or  maybe not.

"A valid payment method is required to confirm your country of origin in order to subscribe."

does this mean you need a credit card which is registered with a US address?

As its still not available in the USA I assume you either need a UK/EU card or an Aussie one.

So no VPN is required to access for ply then...just for signup?

I signed up on the European site trough VPN using my DBS credit card.  It appears all they check is from where you login when you sign in.  After that you are free to use Qobuz from anywhere - that includes the app.
