« on: November 17, 2018, 11:42 »
Rain is getting into the house from around the window frame. Could be a crack in the window, could be the trim/paste along the perimeter of the frame. Raining season and rain is getting into the house.

Any advise / sure of your experience, and looking for recommendation for a reliable contractor. Please let me know if you know of any.

Ford Road/Meyer Road area.

Thanks fellas !

Need to move a one L shape leather sofa and a 5 piece outdoor balcony set.
The charges from 2 quotes is pretty high I feel.

Heard La La Move is good at reasonable charges.

If you have had good experience with any , please let me know.

Also looking for reliable at reasonable charges for curtains contractors, particularly day curtains.

Thank you.

Need to replace a Fisher & Paykel clothe dryer.
Budget $450-$550, 6-7 kg.

Bosch seem to have good reliability online review. Electrical supplier is telling me LG is good.

Any tips and lobang ? Particular make and model ?

Harvery Norman extended warranty - anyone bought this ?

Thanks fellas !

Electrical supplier is telling me LG is good.

Electrical suppliers get more commissions from Korean brands such as Samsung and LG. Don't fall for it.

Bosch is good. I have my Bosch washer for 4 years already. So far so good (touch wood). Had 3 LG washers previously... Will not go back to LG again. Their circuit boards always got problem... 10 years warranty on motor no use.

Get the price from Harvey Norman. Call Goh Ah Bee or Maximum Credit for quotes. Usually both are quite competitive.

My first LG washer, made in Korea, lasted 6 years - died due to circuit board failure
2nd LG washer, made in Korea, lasted 4.5 years - died same as above
3rd LG washer, country of manufactured not stated (but I learned later it was made in China), lasted 4 years - died same as above

Another vote for Bosch. My fisher and Paykeyl  died after 5 years. In Singapore Panasonic lasted 9 years. Made in Japan then.

I do not have good experience with Miele, and will avoid it by a thousand miles. Buying it is only the beginning , after sales is an absolute nightmare.

Fwiw, my old Bosch lasted >14 years. Only changed when the door seal gasket cracked & it was uneconomical to pay Bosch SG to replace it.
