Hi Francis, I am tempted to sign up with Sembcorp power too!! Any idea if they charge Transmission loss factor, carbon tax and any other service charges? Any other additional freebies they offer u? :)

My other option is Geneco, which has no security deposit & has the lowest early termination charges, just in case..

Thanks for yr advice!!

https://www.geneco.sg/residential/promotions/real-savings/

Anyone signing Geneco can use a Friend referal code to have additional $20 rebate from bill.

As for the SP deposit, I think it’s used to offset your following months SP bills once you have started with Geneco.

OK, I just signed up with GenEco. If anyone here wants a referral code for additional $20 referral rebate, do send me a PM.. :)

For GenEco, 65% of the SP security deposit will be refunded back to me since it requires no deposit..

I got to put up $90 security deposit of $90 for a 2 years contracts for condo, think lower for HDBs! The $40 discount will be deducted on the first billing whilst I got the S20 Ntuc vouchers on signing up. Another $40 rebate when paying with AMEX!

No other costs incurred!
