Check directionality of each individual LNE conductor.
Actual listening.
Not just following the printed words on the jacket.
Avoid tension or stressing.

If i do not need 24metres...i prob can do this. I had check with nordost side vahalla2 and odin2 price. Its the same price as per terminated cables. No way i can afford..haha
I had a friend who did a run of vahalla2 from mcb to power point, but that was only 5 meters.

Thanx boss
I should be ordering the 4030anniversary.
Good choice, need patience to trim and terminate it. I’m using it from wall to conditioner

4inch trunking boss
Will be rebuilding the walls. So everyhing will just hide inside. Mcb to wall side is false ceiling. Then go down the internal wall thru 4inch trunking

the furutech DPS4 has been touted to be less sensitive to directional changes.

maker say got align the copper crystal grain structure to reducing crystal grain boundaries wan.
meaning wat i also dunno, but they say make it less sensitive to directionality liao.

anybody got test before?

I'll be a bit hesitant buying a 3-in-1 type power cable. Because how can we be sure how well the cable maker can control the manufacturing process for each of the 3 conductor strands, the weaved shield, the individual dielectric jackets and the outer dielectric jackets to adhere to the parameters affecting directionality?

Even furutech acknowledges that directionality for ac power is important. Although they said their latest cables are less sensitive to directional changes, how can we be 100% sure what they said is true?

 ;D

Previously, my friend (nick:Powerman) gave me 3 strand of wires, about 10meters long. I cut 5m for testing directionality. Terminate them to feed a power extension board.

I tested each strand of cable one by one (terminate, test, change one wire direction only, reterminate, test again,...)
Quite easy to hear difference for each individual strand, and their synergistic total effect.

So now, since i'm helping friends setting up their power supply, I've included in the tender specs for contractors to provide us 2 meter sample cables for checking directionality prior to installations. My friend not going for audiophile standards, Just HDB approved ones. But it should be fun doing the comparisons again...

Last year Singapore hifi show, the guy on right side say it is better to use one set of power wire to hifi power socket rather than multi line, because different set of wire and wall socket will have different ground impedance , it will cause noise when different components in your system have different ground reference point, he said all components in hifi system power should use only one common power point...  ::)

In a way hes correct, hes trying to find common artificial ground. They way he is proposing will help with it to some extend. I am using sound affairs pixilr balance pre cond each for the 2 main lines. But what i am more concern abt is finding a common dc ground reference.

In all audio electronic design , the Pcb start with common point  and the common point to gruond there stiil a potential dif , and that lead to leakage and ground noise.

ya , what both say are right .
That should be only ONE ground , but from there you can hv many common.
