If all you want is a cheap 65" 4k UHD TV, the Samsung Ru7100 65" is going for 1780 at AH..

It's interesting: the local LG C9 OLED tvs are HDMI 2.0 and not 2.1?

Confirmed by LG Singapore via email that the C9 Series model (55, 65 and 77) are supporting HDMI 2.1

I can double confirm that LG Singapore said "OLED65C9PTA is HDMI 2.1 supported".  I only checked the 65".

Sony KD-85X9000F price is ridiculous in Singapore. Brand new 85 inch promotional price at $4500 in Thailand. Anyone knows an estimated price of shipping, gst tax, etc to singapore. I am station in Thailand and looking into the possibility of sending a set to my family. Any comments if bringing in is worthwhile?
Also Samsung 82 inch QLED Model Q60R at same price but feel Sony has better pictue quality.

Wow... even Thailand is now cheaper than us.
Did our Gahmen imposed trade tariff on TVs imported into Singapore? 🙄

If 85" 4K TV is $4.5K now...then very soon, Projector will be a thing of the past.once it goes to the 100" size at less than 8K!

Got it at sg$3.6K new set sony 85X9000F (3 years warranty) to be used in Thailand. I think its a worthwhile risk to send one over to my family (will honour warranty if you send it back for repairs). It is too good to miss. My stewart screen and panasonic projector setup have to go. Singapore prices are just nuts!

Yes, that’s a concern but if we go modular like the Wall then it may be possible.
