Low cost iPad hmmm I also low cost. Runs android too.

This is Chrome OS...I have been a Chromebook supporter for the last couple of years. For Chrome OS to be implemented in a tablet form, might as well use the normal Android OS for better compatibility and ease of use.

Actually I prefer Chrome OS to run Android then Android to run Chrome. How should I say errrmmm more "desktop" if you know what I mean. You get desktop version of chrome browser which you can add extension. I can also retire my android box since I can also stream music from my server using apps.

This is exactly why I say Chrome OS (which have a full blown Chrome browser with much more finesse) is more suitable for a hybrid or laptop based with good touchpad and keyboard to have a better experience. By moving it to a tablet form, it is not as good if you are gonna use touchscreen as your input and navigation. What you need is a more precise movement using a good trackpad.

It’s actually for education purposes so I guess chrome OS is more suitable for opening different type files, docs and multitask. Android a bit more troublesome. Samsung should have a detachable chromebook running Android soon other then pixelbook. That will provide the ultimate portability of running my home entertainment and carrying it to work.
