  • Dont take life so seriously, nobody gets out alive
Works with PC and mac and andrude but not ibone ... wtf!!!
I have a pile of stuff that pushes out squiggly waveforms from smaller squiggly waveforms that sometimes come from 1's and 0's.
It's wonderful to behold as long as you don't let the magic smoke out.

Life is short! Enjoy the music while it plays, when it stops, there might be a chair for you...or  maybe not.

Supports PS4 but not Xbox. Will the adopt the wait and see approach until it supports Xbox for late night movies watching.

Use the usual camera adapter. Not sure if the lightning to USB C works. Also not sure if all android works as some don't output digitally through USB C

From what I see,  it'll work with your phone or PC as it connects by USB.
Cannot see how it can link to avr (why would you need one in this case).

Oh. Because my perception is - now I using avr and bdplayer to watch movies. If i watch a movie using this thing, do i connect the headphone to the avr headphone jack?

how does it work... Mmm...

simple words , is usb "DAC/soundcard" with some hyped DSP

connect to computer ... u can play multichannel movie/game and playback with X-FI "simulated" surround sound on your "Stereo" headphone, it should have its own driver, it works like a soundcard

connect to smartphone .... there is app, u must use to have that X-FI feel, because it holds the profile of the user... If I am not wrong is stereo music playback with some enhancement

Can I use the SXFI AMP with a Windows PC or Mac?

Yes, plug it in to a USB port, and it will be recognized as an audio playback device by Windows or Mac OS.
Before using your SXFI AMP with a PC or Mac, you will need to do a one-time setup of the SXFI AMP with your profile, using an Android device.

For Windows: By default, Windows will use it for stereo playback. For advanced users who wish to playback in multichannel audio, you have to go to the Control Panel / Sound / Manage Audio Devices. Click on “Super X-Fi AMP” Speakers, and click ‘Configure’, to set to 7.1 channels. You can also go into the "Properties" tab / Advanced, to change it to 24 bit 96KHz Studio Quality.

I think to use Super X-Fi with our big screens (not phone or PC), we will need to use a PC/Mac - HDMI connected to our screens.
Then PC/Mac USB connect to SXFi

If we have multiple listeners - is it possible to connect to more than 1 SXFi?
Will it work with USB extension ports?
What movie players/software will it work with? Windows Media player, VLC, Youtube, Netflix, etc.?
Does it work with MKV, BD ISO, etc.?
What kind of audio source? MP3, FLAC, Dolby, DTS, Atmos, DTS-X?

These are some things I wish their FAQ had more info on.

Creative market the Super X-Fi more to work with stereo audio files and then simulate to holographic pseudo surround audio.
I don't think it's meant to work with video encoded files like mkv or BDISO.
