In the end status quo is maintained, and the only new thing is the new Apple Streaming...

Be good for many who dont have a 4K now...and would get them into the 1yr free AppleTV+ too.
I have a pile of stuff that pushes out squiggly waveforms from smaller squiggly waveforms that sometimes come from 1's and 0's.
It's wonderful to behold as long as you don't let the magic smoke out.

Life is short! Enjoy the music while it plays, when it stops, there might be a chair for you...or  maybe not.

Hi,

I have an Apple TV 4K, connected to Marantz SR5012 AVR, and SR5012 output to a HDR Panasonic projector and a 4K TV. I encounter the video will flicker intermittently, and sometimes the issue will disappear. Anyone encountered this issue? What is actually the issue? How do I fix this?

BTW, I got the HDMI cables from SLS shop 4 years ago.

Thanks in advance!

I encounter similar issue too, suspect it is the HDMI cable. Try another video setting.

Try getting a HDMI with 18gbps. Have tried many and ending up getting a fiber hdmi for my projector. Especially for long runs.

Alternate remote anyone?
https://www.macrumors.com/2019/12/09/salt-tv-alternative-apple-tv-4k-remote-control/

If you are a iPhone user, there is a FOC remote that mimics the actual ATV physical remote and much more responsive.

I hate the touch pad remote, have to scroll slowly or sure will skip your selection. Too bad not iPhone user...

I use the hdmi cec function to use my TV remote to control ATV, once it is switched ON, specially for browsing through contents.
