I am sure those are bogus ads. The guy muz have nothing better to do and like to get some attention or he might be eyeing those speakers and hope to bring down the 2nd hand value by posting such ads

that's the problem with Internet Classiads. At one end, it allows immerse convenient and a great source of deals, on the other end, people can exploit it to post false claims knowing very well they need not back up those claims

Spendor SP2/3E
Harbert HL-Compact 7SE-2
Dynaudio Contour 1.3 SE
ProAc Response One 'S'

JMlab Electra 906
Audio Note AN-J/SPe
Acoustic Energy AE1 Series 11
Ruark Solus

ATC SCM 20 SL
KEF Model 201
Sonus faber Electa Amator II

Monitor Audio Gold Reference 10
B&W CDM 1NT

Dynaudio Contour 1.3 SE - around $1.8k
ProAc Response One 'S' - around $2k i think
Monitor Audio Gold Reference 10 - around  1.8k
B&W CDM 1NT - around 2k

thats all i know...

The 1.3SE is more than $3k, 1.8k is for the normal 1.3MKII

The response 1s should be around $3.5K

pai seh.. saw wrongly.. klas quoted me 3.6k for 1.3 SE...

If i remember corredctly, the 1.3se is selling for $2950 at the SAVE exhibition last year,1.3MKII was $1950.

if you can blow your budget, go try to bargain down (must!) the Harbeth Compact 7ES-2 on sale in Planet AV Equipment.

Known at least a few Harbeth users who use Bryston amps with very satisfactory result.

how much for Harbeth Compact 7ES-2 brand new selling here?

If it is something from CD acoustics, you can be sure that it will be serverly marked up!!! Though they carry some very impressive brands (Rega, Harbeth, 47labs, Vandersteen), but their pricing is way off the mark..

For the price of the Harbeth Compact 7ES-2, I think you juz 3 x UK pricing ...
