A busy week with the arrival of Sotm Ultra & sPS 500 power supply. I have not audition any of Sotm streamer- just take it with a leap of faith- that this is a worthwhile investment.  Without any doubt- this is a value for money- streamer- far exceeded my expectation given the price point compare to those high end brand.

Very clear- transparent- bass is really good- analogue sounding no trace of digital "sound" natural- every night is "live" Jazz for me- a very good synergy with the rest of my sound system- significant improvement over my fanless mini.

Use mainly for Spotify & some rip CD.

Test track for all Bro in XP- Please play loud- very shiok - if you have set up your sound system properly - invest a good Dac & streamer- u will not regret it.

USBridge I find it quite good overall. I do not have chance to do a real time AB test though. It's for sure better than just rpi USB out.

851N only takes in wifi 2.4ghz for your info but if you are just using it for phone app remote control that is not a problem as i store my songs in ssd then select songs from ipad and phone...but Naim atom support 5ghz

In term of organizing song like artist and albums for 851N you must put your songs inside folders in order for the machine to acknowledge if it is outside a folder it will not shown inside your playlist........but for naim anything you throw into ssd or usb drive it able to detect music files....both support airplay but naim will support the upcoming airplay 2 through update

851N have upsampling which is good if you have low res audio files but it only support mp3, flac and wav if you have other format like ape, alac, wma those 851N will not detect them only naim can read those

Both are great streamers btw, i used naim for my computer desktop due to it's size and amp in build, 851N for hifi as i had a integrated amp
Both have great transparency for sound, in term of sound i can't compare those two....given one is a player without amp maybe with add on my amp and interconnectors sound would have change so it will not be fair to compare with each other.......what i can say is if you are looking for a amp and a streamer together naim is a great choice.....but if you already have a integrated amp just need the player then 851N is a great choice is clean and transparent,as in term of details it will just pour out everything to you without hesitation so the music file must be lossless in the sense as you could differentiate between you are playing mp3 or lossless
