Is the Miniwatt tube amp repairable?
« on: December 08, 2019, 10:02 »
I have an original Miniwatt SET tube amp that I like very much. It sits on my desk and fits the specific use I have for it, and I really like the sound.

Few days ago its fuse blew with a loud pop when I was listening to something. It was the original fuse that came with the amp that I used for many years, so I went to Burlington square and bought couple of cheap slow blow glass fuses from the auntie, but they popped as well. I tried without the tubes also - not sure whether I am using wrong fuses.

Any of you know how to troubleshoot this, or refer me to someone who can repair it? I know I could probably but a new APPJ or something and they are not expensive, but I'd like to keep this if possible! :)
