This I have to agree, he can't claim to be an innocent lamb either. I do agree he lost his form earlier of last season but when Hinddik took over, he recover his form and still our top striker last season.

I also agree Chelsea reputation would be better without him. But which replacement are we talking? Who is better than Costa and come with very good reputation? Is it easy to persuade them to come Chelsea at current situation without champion league? And how much money has to be spend to buy such a player? I obviously doesnt mind if Aguero willing to come Stamford bridge.

I do not want to dwell on speculation as I have no information of how much reserves Chelsea have at its disposal, nor of Conte's plans for the team.  But I do feel quite strongly that Costa is indeed controversial.  Whatever your viewpoint on Costa, that is your prerogative, and I have already stated mine quite clearly on the subject.  As Chelsea fans, hope that the club continues to improve and does well for the next few seasons.

There's a match tonight, ManU vs Southampton, in case anyone wants to watch and didn't realise.

I'll predict a ManU win, 2-0.

Well noted. I hope we can secure a top four finish this season, it is going to be tough.

Chelsea will definitely be top-4. You don't have to worry about that.
You have a top manager and 2 super signings. The squad is great and champion-worthy, except for an ageing backline.

Hard to say, this year both Manchester club so strong, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham all looking good as well. So I wouldn't be surprised if we finished outside top four with such an aging back line.

2-1 home win is not exactly an ideal start for the former champ. Hope they can improve if they want to stay in contention!
Frustrating I m missing all the games. Greetings from Mammoth California and happy watching!

Haha, jumping from one mountain to another to breath in more cool and fresh mountain air.  Early morning nature walks and mountain hikings are sadly not available in Singapore! :'(
Wish I was biking, rafting and kayaking as well but can't leave just my wife alone in the hotel! :P
