The plastic/rubber ones help keep the contacts shiny.
Those shorting one is to prevent center pin from floating, so short to ground.

Cheap fix. Took some time but happy with results.  I used combination of 20 and 30mm rolls.



Anyone managed to try this and see if it works for you too? Definitely worked for my setup. Wasn't EMI. Just plain RFI fixed with some tape.
