They could have just used Darren Criss as that Mxxy character instead of conjuring him out of thin air literally for a throwaway episode.

By the way, Joe actually demonstrated his vocal chops back in season 2… on Earth2 he was a singer at “Jitterbugs” before he got whacked by Killer Frost ;

I must say I was impressed with Winn’s vocals though (Jeremy Jordan) … best vocals of the lot. Grant has very weakest vocals, he should stick to his day job

I agree. I was very disappointed with Grant cos he can carry a tune and he was fantastic on Glee. But he was very very flat and his lip sync was quite off.

I dun really agree that Darren Criss was a wasted character. If this episode proved popular (and I think it has generated quite a buzz) they may bring him back in future.

The biggest surprise for me was Jeremy's performance because I have no idea he can sing so well.

But way back in 2015, MTV has already mooted the idea of a Flash musical episode when it noted in an article on the singing talents amongst its cast. [ 9 REASONS 'THE FLASH' HAS TO HAVE A MUSICAL EPISODE ]

Still, I thought that overall this was fun episode that was needed to lighten the mood a little. I thought the original songs were quite good and Super-Friend is just a hoot.

OMG! Forget about The Flash and Arrow, Supergirl is by far building up to the best finale of the three superheroe shows on The CW.

The introduction of Mon-El and his season-long romance with Kara has finally come to fruition. It's almost a variation of the brilliant pre-52 New Krypton storyline that tells the story of what happened when earth finds itself populated with 10,000 super-powered Kryptonians.

Potential spoilers followed. Do not read if you had not seen Supergirl S2 Ep 20 - City of the Lost Children.

The latest episode of Supergirl introduced a fleet of Daxamites making its way to earth through the duplicity of Mon-El's mother Rhea (played by Teri Hatcher). Hurt by his son refusal to return home with her, Rhea turned vengeful and plot revenge by bringing the lost fleet of Daxamite to earth.

For the uninitiated, Daxam is the sister planet of Krypton. As such, Daxamite has the same powers as Kryptonians on Earth. In the comics, Daxamites are not vulnerable to Kryptonite but lead. This has not been established in the TV show yet but the latest episode did hint at this weakness.

Now I know why Superman is making another appearance in the season finale. It sounds like Kara is going to need all the help she can get. Frankly, this would have made for better crossover episodes with Arrow and the Flash than that rather lame Dominators Invasion storyline.

The big bad for Supergirl's S3 has been revealed - Reign.



We know from S2 finale that it was someone linked to Krypton. Now we know that the person in the 3rd rocket is Reign.
