UB9000/UB820 seems to be absent totally from Asian market。

Taiwanese consumers buys from both u.s n japs suppliers,
HK consumers buys from jippun or UK sellers。。。。rest of Asia like Malaysia N Thailand gets low end 220volts panny UHD players。。。so, if u want 220v better makes, like HK forumers get BD region B players loh。。。
cheapest?when U goes to Sydney for trips, buy from Apollo Electronics @ AU$548 with addition of $40 for DVD region hack。
or。。。from UK,sgd$725 with shipping inclusion to ur door step。。。DVD region hacked of course。

Yeah...seems like Australia is the place to get the Panny players. I got my UB-420 from Australia as well...thanks to bro WIM who helped me to bring one unit into Singapore...same voltage so no need transformer and more importantly, it is reasonably priced.

the hack doesn't change the system,it's a hack per use method
thanks Yang! Can the BD region be hacked/ jailbreaked too?

There are few ways of Blu-ray hacks shared in YouTube. check it out, if the typical "stop, top menu" method does not work for u.

Should u hv tried most methods on getting ur region B player to play region A discs failed... I think u have to either buy region A player specifically to run ur FHD  discs...or...share ur experience here:
