Linear Power Supply for Geek Pulse
« on: July 13, 2014, 18:22 »
Finally get it done. Squeezing time between hobby and new born baby girl, not easy! !

Chassis - Wei Liang Hifi China, Taobao
AC Transformer - Noratel 15-0-15 60VA
Closed Loop LPS - Taiwanese Hohodiy Dual Voltage PSU(was previously used for my power amp, only utilising the +ve & gnd. -ve is not connected.)

Picture paints a thousand words!

The LPS board was designed for dual voltage i.e. +ve gnd -ve; but I'm only utilising the +ve & gnd, -ve is not connected.

Output +12VDC without load is dead stable. Now where's my PULSE?

 ;D

bro, I guess the lock nut of the power on/off button should be secured from inside the chassis....

very sharp eagle-eye!!! The hole-saw i used is too large (i hate case work! Drill till siao), the lock nut is used to hide and cover the larger hole!
