Just got the entry level D1. Pretty neat. Even does DOP over coax to the DirectStream DAC.

Why not U1 since you got DS DAC?

Roon Ready Firmware 8.01 is released.

Roon users please update Roon to Build 209 or later.  The Roon app Build 209 should show up in a few days.

Roon 30-day trial:
https://www.nativedsd.com/information/roon

Roon can be integrated with Tidal, Tidal 60-day trial:
http://tidal.com/masters

Note: Use a computer web browser to sign up for Tidal, do not use Tidal mobile app (otherwise it'll be more expensive).

Tried but LUMIN only output in airplay...is there any setting to get it to play lossless?

After upgrading Lumin to Firmware 8.01, please go to Roon Audio Setup, find LUMIN under Roon Ready devices, enable it and assign a zone name to it.  If it's not listed, please upgrade your Roon Core to Build 209 or later, or restart the Roon Core if's already the latest.

With Roon Ready there is no reason to use AirPlay in Roon.  (AirPlay music transmission is lossless up to 16/44.1.)

Just a trial run. Maybe later.

Told you years ago to try Lumin....now you try D1, entry level....

You try S1...you don't want to listen to your DS anymore....

The U1 is a transport model that has Ethernet input, and digital audio output (USB audio / AES / BNC / RCA / optical).  No analog or speaker output of any kind.

Peter,

What would be in the team pipeline after a1/s1 model?

Linn does not support DSD at all.  If "DoP over coax" is what you need...

Many users love Lumin upsampling of PCM to DSD.

Unrelated. I have some Sacd rips that show as 176/24 files and play as DSD in LUMIN app and still able to play in LUMIN Roon endpoint with no sound at all. How do I get theee to play under Roon?
