Naim flagship Statement amp?

NAC S1 is the analog preamp.
NAP S1 is the power amp.

As far as I know, Naim NDS or its CD555 doesn't have digital volume control. It also doesn't make sense to use digital volume control it at that level.

It's not a hybrid. It's a true analog volume control using step resistors.

For digital volume volume control, the volume is changed by modifying it's digital information during the digital processing stage.

Use Google Chrome and translate the pages.

UPnP & DLNA compatible. Runs Twonky Server 7.  Catalogue at http://www.iodata.jp/fidata/catalog.pdf

Better build quality than Melco, it appears. 4 mm aluminum top plate. Heat sinked HDD housing.

Not cheap though - JPY345,600 (SGD4150) for the 4TB HDD mirror version and JPY399,600 (SGD4,800) for the 1TB SSD spanned version.

Understand that Lumin does not recommend attenuation by more than 30% when using their digital volume control.

(Excluding M1) It's best to keep Lumin volume at 100% with Analog Audio Output Level set to Normal.  If Lumin volume has to be used, turn off Digital Audio Output - this uses a better implementation of the digital volume.

LUMIN Android app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.luminmusic.lumincontroller

Note:
- It's meant for tablets with 7" screen or larger
- Tidal and Qobuz are not supported yet (for these functions use Bubble DS Next app)
