Dump Lumin App, Use JRiver JRemote. Dump Lumin App, Use JRiver JRemote. Dump Lumin App, Use JRiver JRemote. Dump Lumin App, Use JRiver JRemote. Dump Lumin App, Use JRiver JRemote.

I keep repeating like a worn out record........

In JRiver, all you need to do is you right clink the CD with the missing cover, choose art over, Search from Internet.........if your tagging is correct, it is likely that your art cover will pop up.

Tried trial version of Jriver. It works! Seems very simple to use.  Just rip and most of the cd covers can be found.  I was too happy... Until I realise that I must always turn on the PC? Does it work with only the NAS on?

Yes, you need to leave your PC on. JRiver is the central hub meddling all these tiny features for you. NAS is a pure storage hub, it can't provide such features. What the NAS can do is Instead of storing your files locally in your PC, you can point the directory in your JRiver from local to NAS.

The thing I like about Synology is that their stock apps are pretty cool!  The DS Audio file tags the albums nicely and group them under genres without a hitch...

On behalf of Audio88, i would like to thank those who had purchased the Lumin D1.  The latest shipment is now down to 2 set! As for the A1, it is down to 1 set(laid for discount as this is from previous shipment).

LUMIN D1 REVIEW

Hi-Fi+ review LUMIN D1 in their latest issue.

During the review Nicholas Ripley states:

"In outright sound quality, it’s like Lumin forgot to tell the D1 it was the brand’s entry-level player."

"it’s an exceptional £5,000 network player, for £1,600."

"...any way you look at it, this is like getting 90% of the product for less than 1/3rd the price. What’s not to like about that?"

Thanks for the link,

The A1 keep amazed me to each track i'm playing.

I changed from panduit cat 6( factory assembly)  to belden cat7 diy,  on NAS and lumin end.

it smooths the high and richer mid tone, not that significant though  it's audible on my listening period, quite convenience for long period listening.

Guys, I'm leaning myself towards D1. My use case of it will be a streamer and DAC for my HIFI. A zbox will be running Jriver as media server to stream music, as well as occasionally movies. Another HTPC in the same network with Jriver will be more for HD movie playback thru D1.

Question, can D1 DLNA renderer works for both Jriver music and movie playback ?
