I agreed to Audio and Tiktokape statement.

Yesterday, I got the chance to listen on the Plixir LPSU with D1, I did hear the SQ difference compared to original LPSU. Concluded with myself purchased one unit of Plixir LPSU. :)

Opps! I did not realise that D1 is about SDG2K. I was still living in the old era of the previous Lumin.

In term of SQ, choosing between Kenneth Lau LPS and SA Plixir, I will easily choose the Plixir. The Plixir does more of the things correctly. And its much easier to get support from our local SA too. I have one unit of SA Plixir, and it very well made. And from its packaging, one can sense the pride and attention that SA placed on the Plixir. I find it really admirable that our local guys spend such attention on its product.

Should be easy for the sr7. The unit I am using is 5V 12A. They can custom made it at various output voltages.

As mentioned, Paul hynes no longer produce it himself. Production is currently done by a factory headed by David Webbs I think. I think most of the production time goes to the making of custom transformer (by UK Canterbury windings if I am not wrong).

The sr7 is seriously good stuff. As someone here mentioned before, it's no horse run good.

Where did you order from?

reporting my feedback on my short listening which I may not be good in writing it.

Compared D1 to my previous Mytek (IMO only) on my current setup (PC with JRMC --> D1 --> Int Amp --> speakers) :
Listening to vocal in near field, it was a bit all round pleasant and more detailed.
Background was dark and bass cleaner.
D1 cannot support DSD128 files.
Overall, happy with the purchase, burning-in the DI and Plixir LPS. ;D

No experience on this product. It will be good to start a new thread on this product/brand if there is nil on it to avoid Lumin thread getting off topic. I know alvin1118 is using Soundaware D100. You can pm him. Cheers!

I don't think so. However, if you are using JRiver and JRemote. There is an iPhone app for JRemote to control Lumin. If you need Tidal, strictly on Lumin app via iPad.

Its great to run Tidal Up stampling  to DSD on Lumin. Sound quality is much better compare with Tidal Airplay to Lumin :)
