Actually at this price, it's fine to order it from Malaysia as the savings is enough to pay for a 2nd unit if it really breaks down within 3 years.  Wonder if they willing to ship across the causeway after MCO is lifted.

The list price for the Sony 77A9G in Malaysia is MYR21,699, which is about S$7,000. That is similar to the price in the USA and it is twice the price in Singapore at $15K. What gives?

Yes. Only Atmos it decode. Have not try the passthru via hdmi ARC to AVR.

Bro I tested liao...dts can’t passthru ARC. TV side set to passthru also can’t

Panasonic’s 2000 series. It has better heat dissipation which reduces the chance of image retention.

My last Panasonic was flat-screen TV like 25 years ago ;D

Still wondering if should go for LED or QLED instead. Comments on burn issues is quite mixed online.
